In an effort to better provide fire protection services to you as well as to our entire area, the Sandoval County La Madera Fire District creates pre-incident plans for residences in our response area.
Due to our firefighters being entirely volunteer and putting forth multiple hours responding to calls and training, it would be nearly impossible for us to visit every resident annually as we would like to. Due to this we have put together a brief pre-plan questionnaire that we request you fill out and return to us.
We also ask that you attach a site plan/map for your home. We know that your time is also very valuable but in doing this we want you to know that we will be much better prepared to respond to an emergency at your home, allowing us to limit damage to property or possible injury.
Once we have received your completed pre-plan form, we will review your information as well as your site plan. We will then review to determine any high risk potential and look at scheduling a home visit, if needed. Our goal is to eventually visit residents within our area, we will schedule based on potential risk of high priority items, such as life safety and property conservation.
