SUMMARY:Firehouse Festival 2018
DESCRIPTION:Dear Neighbors\, \nThe Tecolote Auxiliary is again hosting its Fire House Festival on Saturday June 2. The Festival will run from 10 am – 2:00 pm. It is held at the La Madera Fire Station\, off North 14 in the East Mountain area. This is an every other year event\, the even years. We are setting our sights on another great show. The format will be similar to Festivals in previous years: a Car Show\, Art Show\, Raffle\, Bake Sale\, Kid’s Corner\, Book Sale\, and a Community Information Center. Artists and Craftsmen in all media are encouraged to participate. There will be 14 spaces (6’x 6′) inside the fire station available. There are no entry fees for any of our artists and craftsmen. \nWe will\, however\, welcome any donations to the LMVFD and Tecolote Auxiliary raffle. This is a call for artists. Please respond as soon as you are sure you can attend and let me know what media you be showing and selling. We have a few spaces open and welcome our new NextDoor neighbors. La Madera VFD serves the entire Sandia Park and Cedar Crest areas as either a primary or secondary response team (by a mutual response agreement with Bernalillo County). \nWhen the East Mountains has a fire all firefighters are needed! Even if you decide not to enter\, please do come by. See what we do and enjoy the Festival. All in all\, we expect a day filled with activities and hope for a good turnout of entries and visitors.
